Thanksgiving Coming up / Saving for Christmas

As Thanksgiving approaches, many people are trying to budget to make sure they have the money needed for Christmas.

Its a really troubling time, because with the economy many people don't have the funds needed for Christmas.

I have talked to 15 people and 10 of them are totally broke, and are going to probably be unable to have the Christmas they have had in the past.

Its very sad to me, with so many people out of work, or on low budgets.....after loosing jobs........

When will the economy turn around, and when will jobs become more bountiful?

I have been debating on opening a Non-profit company.......to look at things a little different...... Help families, with little things, or larger things. Help the community, and the general public. Look at each case differently, with different eyes.

Not all people qualify for assistance, or financial help...... Example, I have a friend who is 57 who lost his job, and is in the process of selling a home to get the cash out.......will be moving into an apartment......has no medical insurance, and can only find a part time job.....and really no agency will help her.........Its a sad but true reality in our lives.......

I don't believe the government should help everyone, because we would have no money....and taxed would go up crazy.....however, I think if you help people, and start with one person, and one community at a time you can make a difference in peoples lives.

Just food for thought, I dont really know why I typed this, I just felt like telling people how I felt......I know its not really organized, and the topic is scattered, but I just wanted to put it in writing..... My thoughts.

Voting Today

I went and voted today, and as I spoke to friends about voting...

I found it very hard to believe, but 3 of 10 people I spoke to have not

and dont plan on voting today. They said "Its just not my thing"....

Or "Im not really worried about things because, nothing matters"

It really hit home with me, because if every american would vote

we could make a difference in who is elected, also we could make a difference

in who wins the primary elections each year.

I am considering volunteering, so that I can help sign people us to vote, and help t

them understand how important voting is.

One big factor is the time involved..... some people say, if they had online voting

campability more people would be able to vote, or if they had more voting

places.......

Who knows, but lets really try and get more people voting.....

Hillary could have won..... and many others in the past..........

We all make a difference in who wins, and who doesnt....
